A recognized leader in the healthcare industry, Joe Sardano has spent more than 30 years in management and marketing. He has a successful history of introducing and commercializing new technologies and services in many areas, including electronic brachytherapy, PET and PET/CT, SPECT, MRI, lithotripsy and digital radiography. Before joining Sensus Healthcare, Sardano held leadership and management roles at CTI Molecular Imaging, GE Medical Systems, Siemens Medical Systems, Elscint Inc and Toshiba America Medical Systems, among others.

Michael Sardano has served in many capacities at Sensus Healthcare, Inc. since 2013. Michael works on a range of issues for Sensus, including, State and Federal Regulatory Matters, Government Affairs, and SEC Compliance. Prior to joining Sensus, Michael served on the United States Senate Rules & Administration Committee working on campaign finance reform and 501(c)(4) “SuperPAC” regulations during the 2012 Presidential Election. A licensed attorney in the State of Florida, Michael graduated from Bentley University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Management & Finance and graduated from New England School of Law in 2013 receiving his Juris Doctor.

Javier Rampolla has been director of accounting and reporting/controller at Sensus since 2015 and has more than 20 years of financial experience, holding positions of increasing responsibility at a number of public and private companies. He played an important role in managing the Sensus Healthcare’s initial public offering in June 2016 and worked to apply new U.S. GAAP guidelines for revenue recognition and leases. His experience includes three years as the assistant controller for Latin America at Stanley Black & Decker, where he centralized accounting functions for Central America and the Caribbean by achieving synergies that reduced cost and headcount by 20%. He was also responsible for implementing Sarbanes-Oxley financial controls. Mr. Rampolla has a B. A. in accounting from the University of Massachusetts in Boston.

Maggie Martinez has been with Sensus Healthcare since 2013. Originally hired as a Customer Support Specialist, she provided real time technical support and led the team of field service engineers. She was promoted to Director of Field Operations in 2018, and most recently served as the Vice President of Operations. Maggie’s involvement in all post-sales activities, with an emphasis in customer satisfaction, technical support, and asset management with Sentinel Cloud™ has made her an integral part of the operations team. She holds a B.B.A. in Business Administration from Stetson University.

Mr. Sosa joined Sensus as Vice President of Technology Development with extensive experience in bank alarm systems, computer graphics, asset tracking, medical devices and artificial intelligence. In his 25+ years of experience, amongst his accomplishments are the introduction and engineering of the first GPS device in the Argentina market with real time streaming video cameras for vehicles and automated asset tracking systems (founding Overmax S.A. in 2007 ). His company in the U.S. was recognized as 2016 small business of the year. He has also designed and developed in the late 90’s electroencephalography and brain mapping devices, implementing the first 3-D EEG Brain Mapping medical devices and polysomnography machines at the time. In his new position he is charged with overseeing and expanding the company’s team of engineers to provide dependable and differentiated technologies to customers and their patients. A priority focus will be on expanding the capabilities and indications of the company’s Sentinel™ technology. Sentinel provides asset management and HIPAA-compliant patient data and storage capability, and also contains the software necessary to support shared service models including direct patient billing. Mr. Sosa studied software engineering at the National University of Technology in Buenos Aires, international marketing and foreign trade at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina

Monica is a highly Experienced Application Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the medical device industry. DiGioia has worked with Sensus Healthcare for almost a decade and is an expert in Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Sales, and Clinical/ Hospital Affairs. Graduated from Hailfax Medical Center School of Radiology.

Jeffrey Starling was hired by Sensus as Southwest Account Executive in 2016 and was promoted to Southeast Regional Manager in 2020. He previously served as Director of Business Development at Fallene Cosmeceutical, Ltd. and in various sales and business development positions at Biopelle, Inc. He holds a B.A. in Marketing Communications from Southern Methodist University.

Christopher Machuzak joined Sensus in 2012 as an Account Executive and was promoted to Sales Manager in 2017. He was previously a Territory Manager at Dermpath Diagnostics. Mr. Machuzak received a B.S. in Education from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Tipton joined Sensus in June of 2021 as the Director of Digital Marketing, revamping the company’s social media and on-line outreach, which resulted in a dramatic increase in patient and physician inquiries. She has also worked closely with the company’s clinical, sales, and engineering teams to provide a more comprehensive approach to the product portfolio. As an experienced sales & marketing professional with a record of success, she was President of Tipton Group, a marketing consulting firm prior to joining Sensus. Previously she was for six years Industrial Director/Director of Sales for Nova Medical Centers in Knoxville, Tenn. Ms. Tipton holds a B.S. degree in biology and minor in business administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Mr. Suen brings to Sensus nearly 20 years of business development, sales and regulatory experience supporting the distribution of U.S. medical devices and other products throughout Asia and in particular China.  

Most recently, he was Director, Business Development at Fosun Pharma, with responsibility for identifying complementary products to expand the Fosun/Chindex product portfolio and providing strategies for companies to enter the China market.  

From 2010 to 2016 he was Senior Manager, Business Development and Regulatory at Chindex International, prior to its acquisition by Fosun Pharma.  At Chindex, Mr. Suen was part of a team that initiated and managed the first robotic surgery reference center in China, and established one of the most successful da Vinci Surgical System marketing programs in the world. 

From 2004 to 2010 he served as Manager, Business Development at Prosperity Link in Beijing, where he was responsible for the annual sourcing of more than $50 million in food products from the U.S.

Dr. Solomon joined Sensus Healthcare in 2019 as Vice President, Business Development. Over his four years with Sensus, David has taken on additional responsibilities related to clinical development, clinical affairs, regulatory, investor relations and sales. Prior to Sensus, Dr. Solomon worked at Roth Capital Partners as a Medical Device equity research analyst, covering microcap and small cap companies. David graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2013 and from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science in 2008 with a B.S.E. in Bioengineering.

Sean brings to Sensus nearly 20 years of product development experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance and regulatory compliance, including worldwide regulatory clearances and approvals, development and product quality, international standard compliance and post–market surveillance. Much of his experience is in software-controlled image-guided radiation therapy systems. Most recently, Mr. Delaney worked at ViewRay, with responsibility for regulatory affairs and compliance, quality assurance, radiation safety and U.S. Food and Drug Administration submissions. He holds a B.S. in physics from San Jose State University and an MBA from Santa Clara University, Leavey School of Business.

Kenrick Anthony Spence, M.D., F.A.C.S., Medical Director and Chief Plastic Surgeon at the Hillcrest Plastic Surgery since 1999, specializes in Advanced Facial Rejuvenation, Facial Surgery and Facial Revision Surgeries, Body Contouring and Body Contouring Revisionary Surgeries. Throughout his tenure at Hillcrest Plastic Surgery, Dr. Spence has led a team comprised of Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeon, Anesthesiologist, Nurse Practitioners, Aestheticians, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, Surgical Technicians, Patient Care Coordinators and Administrators.

Born in London, England, of Jamaican parentage, an alumnus of Calabar High School and the University of the West Indies, Dr. Spence has been in the practice of medicine since 1990. David J. Goldberg, MD, JD is recognized nationally and internationally for his innovative work with skin lasers, cosmetic dermatology and non-invasive facial and body rejuvenation techniques. A board-certified dermatologist who has been in practice since 1985, he has treated patients and taught doctors throughout the world in the use of these cutting-edge technologies.

Under his direction, Skin Laser & Surgery Specialists of New York and New Jersey has been a pioneer in making skin laser and cosmetic dermatology technologies available to the public. Dr. Goldberg earned his medical degree from Yale University. He completed his dermatology residency and dermatologic surgical fellowship at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Kevin Schewe is a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist and a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology. William I. Roth, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who has been in practice for 34 years. His conviction in the superiority of superficial radiation therapy (SRT) for skin cancer treatment dates back to his joint practice with Victor H. Witten, MD—and Witten’s work with his past partner, Marion Sultzberger, MD. Dr. Roth continues the legacy and breakthrough science of their innovations. Dr. Witten and Dr. Roth worked together demonstrating SRT excellent results for almost 15 years in Miami. The availability of new, safer and improved SRT delivery systems from Sensus Healthcare now helps Dr. Roth provide SRT in his private practice in Boynton Beach, Florida. Dr. Roth is a clinical professor in The University of Miami School of Medicine Department of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Medical Association. Among his many past positions, he has served as President of the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery and President of the Dade County Medical Association. Angela M. Abbatecola, MD, Ph.D., has served as a contract researcher in the Scientific Direction at the Italian National Research Center on Aging (INRCA) in Ancona, Italy since 2009. She studied chemistry and obtained her Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York in 1994 (summa cum laude). She then went on to earn her medical degree in 2001, followed by her Ph.D. in 2009 at the Second University of Naples in Naples, Italy—achieving the highest honor of recognition (summa cum laude) for both. Dr. Abbatecola is currently a member of two Italian committees in Rome focused on study protocols for older people in Italy—Geriatric Working Group at the Agenzia Italiana del Farmaco (AIFA) and the Scientific Board of the Società Italiana Geriatri Ospedalieri (SIGOS). Dr. Abbatecola has authored more than 35 original papers, reviews, editorials, and chapters in diverse medical books. Her published work addresses many issues regarding the aging process and the difficulties often encountered when treating elderly patients. She continues to investigate ways to identify biomarkers for frailty syndrome, cognitive decline and sarcopenia.

John Heinrich has been involved in the development and management of a wide range of diagnostic imaging, therapeutic, medical diagnostic and scientific instrument companies for more than 25 years. He played a key role in the development of mobile MRI systems in the early 1980s and served as Vice President of MRI products at Technicare Corporation. Over the past 15 years, his responsibilities have included serving as: President and Chief Operating Officer of Technomed International USA Inc., a leading developer and marketer of therapeutic technology; President and Chief Operating Officer of Summit World Trade, a diversified group of health care and technology companies; President and Chief Executive Officer of Otsuka Electronics USA Inc., a developer and marketer of medical and scientific equipment; and President and Chief Operating Officer of Meretek Diagnostics Inc., a developer and marketer of medical diagnostics. Dr. Heinrich was responsible for the sales of Otsuka’s medical and scientific equipment businesses to Elscint Ltd. and Varian Instruments, respectively, along with the acquisition of Cambridge Isotope Laboratories and Meretek Diagnostics. He is also a cofounder and director of Acuitas Medical, a developer of unique MRI software, and managing partner of Revolution NMR, LLC and Kansas Analytical Services, LLC.

Mr. Petrelli received his BS in Business (Finance) and his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado and a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary. He began his career in 1972 and since that time has managed the Corporate Finance departments for Bosworth, Sullivan & Co., Hanifen,Imhoff, Inc. and his current position at NTB Financial Corporation. Mr. Petrelli has served on numerous regulatory and industry committees including service on the FINRA Corporate Finance Committee, the NASD Small Firm Advisory Board, the FINRA Fixed Income Committee, the FINRA District Surveillance Committee, District 3 and as the Chairman of the FINRA District Business Conduct Committee, District 3, FINRA Statutory Disqualification Board and as a FINRA Arbitrator and as a member of the Task Force on Future of Shared State and Federal Securities Regulation, North American Securities Administrators Association, Inc. (NASAA) among others. Mr. Petrelli has also served as the Chairman of the Regional Investment Bankers Association. Mr. Petrelli has been involved in many aspects of the securities industry. He has had extensive experience in his 40 years in the areas of operations, sales, trading, management of sales, underwriting and corporate finance.

Sam O’Rear has 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry as a clinician, a sales and marketing director, vice president, general manager, owner and principal in several healthcare services businesses. His experience as clinician in the ancillary hospital services was garnered primarily in the UAB Health System (1970-74). From 1974 to1990, he held sales and marketing positions in Siemens and GE Healthcare. O’Rear rose from management posts in sales, financing, asset management and marketing to vice president and general manager of X-Ray Business. O’Rear left GE to become the chief operating officer for Medical Imaging Centers of America in 1990. That year, he also founded The Innovation Group, Inc. (TIGI). Over the years, he has acquired several consulting firms to expand TIGI into a multi-partner healthcare consultancy. Today, TIGI provides commercialization services to a client base extending from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies represented by GE, Philips, Toshiba, Xerox, Roche, HCA, VHA, MedAssets, Compass Group, Cobalt, Sysmex, Cobalt, etc. O’Rear holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Psychology. He is the senior partner of Total Innovation Group, Inc., and is an investor, principal and board member in several start-ups in the healthcare industry (Data Advantage, Remcare, Sensus, UP Labs).

Bill McCall has served as a financial advisor and portfolio manager for over 43 years and is currently a Managing Director of Heritage Advisory Group, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services Inc. Other business activities include Managing Partner of Investors Capital Alliance LLC, a consulting company; CEO of WMW Partners LLC, a holding company; member of Pandora Mineral Resources LLC and Board member of Cherokee Farm Partners Inc., an entity of the University of Tennessee Research Foundation. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Tennessee and he received a Chartered Wealth Advisor designation from Michigan State University.

Ms. Cornish brings to Sensus more than a decade of experience working on Capitol Hill in several Congressional offices and as a lobbyist advising a broad range of companies in a variety of industries. Since 2016 she has served as vice president of external affairs and corporate secretary for FoodMaven Corporation, a Colorado Springs-based company that sells unsold and oversupplied food from distributors, manufacturers and producers to restaurants and institutional buyers. Since 2013 she has been an independent consultant to corporations, law firms, not-for-profit organizations and political campaigns on government relations and lobbying.

Ms. Cornish served from 2012 to 2013 as Legislative Assistant to Rep. Tim Holden of Pennsylvania, who was a member of the U.S. Committee on Agriculture from 1992 to 2014. From 2009 to 2012 while serving as Legislative Assistant to Rep. Edolphus Towns of New York, she researched and analyzed immigration, science and technology, homeland security, animal rights issues and special projects while he served as Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Earlier in her career she contributed to multiple political campaigns for candidates running for local, state and federal offices.
